The DRS4200 Series Fire Hose Cabinets are designed for intervening in high-risk fires involving flammable and combustible materials. Due to their lay-flat hose configuration, they offer high flow rates; however, they are considerably more difficult to operate. The presence of trained firefighting personnel is mandatory for the use of these lay-flat systems in buildings; consequently, they are less frequently preferred in the domestic market.The foam’s high-density properties allow it to act as a covering agent, spreading over the flames to form a film layer that effectively isolates the fire from oxygen.Note: Although there is no dedicated standard for foam fire cabinets under EN 671-1 or EN 671-2, the DRS4200 Series is manufactured in partial compliance with TS EN 671-2 due to the technical requirements of its lay-flat hose system.
